I’ve tested positive today and I feel horrendous!! Blocked nose, headache, dizziness, cough, sore throat and sore side and back. Paracetamol isn’t touching it is there any other way? Contacted midwifes just waiting on call back 🥲

No advice, I tested positive last Friday and feel so drained. I've been sleeping lots, had paracetamol when feeling at my worst and hot honey and lemon drinks soothe my throat. Hope you feel better soon x
I had covid in my last pregnancy, there's not really much you can do other than paracetamol and rest unfortunately. The midwife suggested getting one of those finger oxygen and pulse monitors just to keep and eye on your oxygen levels, then go get help if they drop below safe levels, but that was at the hight of covid.

I had it at 13 weeks. Spoke to the midwife and they said all you can do is rest, stay hydrated and take paracetamol. They did say if my breathing started to be affected, I needed to contact 111/go to normal a&e. Thankfully it didn't get that bad, but I did take a couple of days off work. I slept as much as I could and I think that helped ❤️xx
