Adequately farming all the materials for Jade’s Ascension and Traces in Honkai: Star Rail is a vital step in optimizing the character and leading her toward her full potential. Jade is a 5-star Quantum character who follows the Path of the Erudition. The senior manager of the IPC’s Strategic Investment Department is a specialist in follow-up attacks. She deals a massive amount of damage on her own but can choose an ally to become a Debt Collector. With this, she has more chances of triggering follow-up attacks, which boosts her offensive stats even further.

Along with Firefly, Jade is one of the new playable characters in Honkai: Star Rail 2.3. She is a premium character who can only be obtained once she comes into the gacha system’s banner rotation, and there is no specific frequency at which reruns occur, especially with the ever-growing roster. If you are lucky enough to pull her, however, you will have work to do since gathering the proper Ascension and Trace materials for Jade can be troublesome. Most of them were already available in the game, though a set of items was released in the same Version as Jade.

Ascension Materials To Farm For Jade In Honkai: Star Rail

These Items Are Mostly Easy To Obtain

The materials you need to farm for Jade’s Ascension were all available in the game prior to her release, so there is a chance that you already have a stock of a few of them. The first set of items you will need to farm are Dream Collection Component, Dream Flow Valve, and Dream Making Engine. These are Penacony-related materials that drop from Dreamjolt Troupe enemies, which can be found on the Planet of Festivities, but also in the Simulated Universe, for instance. This material will also be used in Jade’s Traces, so be sure to farm intensely.

Because the three aforementioned materials are all part of the same item family, it is worth remembering that you should use the Omni-Synthesizer to transform copies of lower-grade items into rarer ones. Three Dream Collection Components can become one Dream Flow Valve, for instance. This is useful to optimize your gains and use as many of the collected resources as you can. The best way to farm Dreamjolt Troupe materials is to challenge Calyx (Golden) activities on Penacony. By doing so, you will face these opponents and obtain their respective items in Honkai: Star Rail, in addition to other resources.

The other required Ascension material for Jade is called Dream Flamer. This item is exclusive to Quantum characters and has been used previously by Sparkle – which means that if you farmed for the support unit, you may still have a small surplus. Nevertheless, in need of 65 copies, you will need to challenge the Stagnant Shadow: Dream’s Edge activity on Penacony to get Dream Flamer. Aside from using the Omni-Synthesizer to transform other Ascension materials into Dream Flamer, the Stagnant Shadow is the only way to farm this material in Honkai: Star Rail.

Getting through each of the Ascension thresholds will also cost you around 300,000 Credits, in addition to the 580,100 Credits consumed when leveling Jade with Character EXP Materials. To farm more Credits, challenge Calyx (Golden): Bud of Treasure activities. A New Set Of Materials Was Added With Version 2.3

As was previously mentioned, Dream Collection Component, Dream Flow Valve, and Dream Making Engine are also consumed when leveling up Jade’s Traces. At higher Trace levels, you will be required to use Lost Echo of the Shared Wish, a weekly boss material that is only dropped by beating the Great Septimus boss in Honkai: Star Rail. You only really need 12 of these to max out Jade’s skills, but given the weekly limitations on these types of boss encounters and how many they drop, you may take more time than expected farming it. Nevertheless, farming Lost Echo of the Shared Wish is a very straightforward process.

The final material you will need for Jade’s Traces is Tracks of Destiny. Like the weekly boss material, this is used for higher-level Traces, so you only need eight copies. These rare items are best farmed weekly from the Simulated Universe activity, though you can get more from limited-time events, the Battle Pass, and Embers Exchange.

Leveling up Traces is a very expensive process and you will be required a large sum of Credits to max out Jade’s abilities. As per usual, you can farm more Credits from Calyx (Golden) activities. It is not too difficult to farm materials for Jade, though it may be a rather time-consuming process. Nevertheless, this is the first step toward unlocking her potential and heading into Jade’s build in Honkai: Star Rail.
